Hello Everyone,

Happy New Year to all of you! I hope you're all 'geared' up for a great year ahead! (Sorry about the pun)

I have been receiving a lot of emails, queries, IM's, etc. about when the next HardComixxx party will be. As of now, there are none planned in the near future. Why you ask? Well, Aaron Tanner, the promoter & owner to the rights has moved on to another nightclub in NYC. They are not the type of establishment that would want to host, or could host, (due to logistical problems), a lycra themed fetish party. So, that means HardComixx, for now, is dead in the water.

A few friends of mine, who have come to all of the previous events, have stated that we should start our own party. Now, my question to all of you is what do you want from a party? Some concerns that have been aired in the past were that some people fely uncomfortable wearing gear in a mixed enviroment, (street clothes vs, lycra wear), which made them feel as if they were on 'display' so to speak. Other concerns were the night it was held. It's been held on Thursdays, Fridays, & Saturdays. Ideally Saturday nights seem to be the best, but very few bars want to give up their busiest night of the week for a buch of guys in gear. There simply are not enough of us to make it economically feasible for a bar to keep their doors closed to non-gear wearing clientele.

What I am hoping is that all of you can send in some ideas of what you are looking for. The more of you that do it, the better it will be for us as we present our 'sales pitch' to prospective bar owners & managers. No idea will be overlooked. No idea is bad, (well, most aren't, I have had a few doozies in the past), so please send me whatever pops into your head.

Shall we limit it to just lycra, or extend it to anything tight & shiny that can be worn? Latex, leather, PVC, etc. You name it!

Dancing? Food? Retail vendors? Artists? Go-Go boys? Wrestlers?

I'd appreciate your help with this guys. Let's get another party going!!
