Hey. The club I teach aerobics at had a costume night on Wednesday. I was thinking of going as Richard Simmons. I went to Target looking for an afro style wig ... no such luck. They had a Spiderman suit there that was kinda so-so ... but it was on sale for $20 ... what the heck.
I got home and tried it on. It was a full body suit. The top actually fit pretty well, but the lower half was kinda sad. I started looking at my collection of tights and found these medium blue Dolfins I bought last year. The color match was great.
I cut the suit off at just above the crotch, making a long tail Spidey shirt.I put on the tights and rolled the waist band down with a belt. You know it didn't look half bad ... man, those Dolfin tights don't leave much to the imagination! I finished off with a pair of black hightop basketball shoes which worked well.
The hood was actually pretty good with mesh over the eye holes. I got a great reaction and a lot of compliments. The club manager even came into my class and took pictures from several angles.
