Hi there,
My name is Michael and I am from Melbourne (Australia) for those who may not know me from the speedo message board... Anyways I went out and bought myself a new bike after several years of not having one and want to get into cycling as a happy alternative to the gym. I'm not planning to be the next lance armstrong I just wanted a method of exercise knonw for good results, great flexibility and good times to boot.
Now that you know a teeny weeny bit of back ground information could I please ask for some help in sizing me up for some cycling gear (when I first get the chance I hope to visiting a sporting store that sells the stuff, but I am actually looking to make most of my purchases from the US on eBay as the prices over here are stupidly more expensive than what eBay can offer.
MY DIMENSIONS:
Generally take a 32/34 speedo Generally take a small size t-shirt
I scrape in at around 6 foot tall, and quite slim (working on the tummy but thats why I am exercising right?).
If you can please help me out in suggesting a size that may be suitable I shall really appreciate it. To date I have noticed some may say S / M / L etc and some may say 1/ 2/ 3/ 4 etc.
Now I am not sure if S = 1 and so forth.
FINALLY to top it all off I have to contend with international sizing differences ... Ugg.
All I can suggest by example is a 32 speedo here may equate to a 34 speedo in the US (God knows why). So if you take a 34 Speedo (US) then hopefully we may be a similar size in bike shorts. I think jerseys will have to be hit and miss till we get it right.
Now if I have not confused the bizonkers out of you then please do take time to send your replies to me at ....
