I was at a Starbucks cafe last Tuesday, and noticed three African-American guys sitting together. One of them was wearing black running tights with a camouflage patterned jacket with elastic waistband, and some hiking boots. He looked very interesting. I wasn't sitting too far away from them to overhear some of their conversation. Interestingly enough, the one guy in spandex pulls out some fashion illustrations. He explained to his companions that he made them himself. One of his companions was holding them high enough for me too take a pretty good look at them. The first one I saw was of a athletic man doing squats with a barbell and weights. He was wearing a one piece lycra suit with a black line on the sides of the arms and legs. The designer was explaining that the suit was form fitting like his tights and that the zipper was on the back and would extend all the way down to the butt. He then proceeded to show some illustrations of singlets. Of course, they looked quite similar to those what a wrestler or a triathlete would wear. The models from the illustrations looked very muscular and athletit. The clingy spandex items that they were wearing made them look very sexy. Speaking of sexy, the designer too looked very sexy in his outfit, and not to mention his voice...quite seductive indeed!! Hopefully his designs will soon reach the department stores or even the internet. The designer did mention about putting up a website to sell his line of clothing. I wish him all the best, because I wouldn't mind buying that full body lycra suit he designed.
