Hey buddies!
I had the first glorious sighting of the lycra season here in Chicago. Today the temp went up to about 64. After work I was going to buy some cheap wine and cigarettes (what else is important in a Chicago winter?) when going down the street from a side-street this guy on a bike pulled out next to me. He was tall and dark haired, and rode up next to me as he tried to get into my lane.
He was wearing these shiney black lycra bike pants that came to his calves, and a matte finish balck lycra long-sleeved top. His body had obviously been honed by years of physical exercise, and he was thin, with no body fat that I could see. He had those muscular legs that the best bike riders always seem to have, and a trim muscular butt (I love muscular butts!). His abs were so flat and his shirt was sooo tight. He pulled up on the left sode of my car, and I turned and tossed him a wave. he smiled back. then he pulled in line behind my car.
I slowed down quite a bit, but he didn't stay close enough behind, even though when he jumped off his site to accelerate, I could see he was over six feet of lycra clad man in my rearview mirror. I tried to slow down enough, but couldn't find enough time to stop at the green light (I guess it would have been really funny if I stopped at a green light to wait for about ten seconds for him to catch up with me). So I went down the street towards the liquor store, and in my rearview I saw him turn the corner.
