I would go for white lycra shorts as a standard.
But if you really want to be provocative, I would go with a white lycra ballet trunk. These are like a brief with about six inch seams. They're made for women, but young males in Russia often wear them for ballet classes.
www.nydancewear.com has these, custom made from Bal-Togs.
As for running tights, I would go with cotton/lycra tights, also from Bal-Togs. The Danskin footless cotton/lycra tights are best, but they are not made anymore and are hard to find. In grey, they show enough detail but are really comfortable.
Just some humble suggestions. You can get the Bal-Togs stuff in a liquid-grey-silver if you like.
