WOW!!! First off, thank you Rob for coming to my defense.
And second, whoever you are that posted anonymously, you read the story and totally misconstrued it with some sort of nasty thoughts that were in YOUR mind. That is just plain nasty to think that whoever you are assumed that my dad and I were fucking each other or something. NOTHING sexually ever happened between me and my dad. We went through some hard times, and at the time, we were just too damn poor to buy a place with more than 1 bedroom. And yeah, given our financial situation, maybe my dad giving into his spandex obsession and constantly buying more spandex gear wasn't the best way to spend our money. But I can't complain; there was always food on the table and a roof over our heads.
I was just merely telling of my first memories and encounters with the shiny stuff, but I didn't know that you were also there with me at the same time. Maybe you should tell the story.
"Anonymous", whoever you are, maybe I should clarify something just for you. Here in the U.S. for most of the 80s and early 90s, it was considered perfectly acceptable fashion for men and women (and even kids too), whether you were str8 or gay, to wear spandex in public. When I started running 5K races and track meets a year after I first saw my dad wearing spandex, he then bought me some of my own. I don't see what is so hard to understand or comprehend that the FIRST person I ever saw wearing spandex just so happened to be my dad, and I would've had to have been totally and completely blind to not notice my dad sliding on some bike shorts before bedtime. And about living out of the same bedroom, he always gave me privacy, but I would always get dressed in the bathroom. He, however, was part of a different generation... a hippie of sorts who didn't mind stripping down naked in front of others. It would've been pretty damn hard to miss seeing him sliding on his spandex in the same room as me. What, did you think he would look at me all erotic, with his dick all hard, while pulling up his shorts? You've got a sick mind, whoever you are!!!
