In an earlier posting, I mentioned that I got some cycle tights. This morning during my cycling excursion I wore them for the first time. It was a bit nippy outside, but not bad. I wore a long sleeve lycra undershirt, a long sleeve cycle jersey, socks, shoes, and my cycle tights WITH BRIEF UNDERWEAR.
Go ahead and lash me any of your lycra clothing. I never wear underwear with my bib shorts or cycle shorts, but I felt that I needed some support to keep the jewels from rolling around too much. You know what happens when the jewels roll around in lycra! Friction, tickling, sensation, hardened jewels, embarassing oooze spots...
I just didn't want to deal with too many fun yet distracting things on my first day out in cycle tights.
OK, so I plead guilty to the totally unnatural and uncalled-for act of wearing underwear under cycle tights! The good thing about the brief underwear is that it keeps the jewels in place, where they can look quite interesting--not much unlike the nice mounds in a dancers belt.
