Hey my eclipse buddy!
I love metallic lycra, except I see there are two kinds. The lurex-thread stuff and the stuff that gives a solid metallic look. I prefer the latter.
When the lurex thread stuff became popular, I had friends who said that guys who wore the garments with sparkly metal interwoven in the fabric were feminine, bottom type queers. These friends were gay, and were tops. I was always out, since I told Sister Janet in the fifth grade that I wanted to marry a guy. But somehow I listened to these guys and adopted the same attitude about lurex threaded stuff.
But when I saw metallic material, I was hooked. My first purchase was from Ah Men! It was a bikini that had clasp hooks on each side, in a metallic gold finish. I must have been in high school. It had a full seat, which stretched across the butt. I didn't like that, because I wanted a seat the pulled into the butt crack so that each buttock was clearly seen. So I sewed an elastic up the middle of the seat. I made it what International Male later called a Buns bikini.
I don't have a full-body suit in metallic lycra, but there was the one time at Halloween when I slipped into Mark's, but that's another story.
