I have an old pair of lycra/cotton blend running tights that I bought in the 80's. It's lost it's elasticity, so now I use it as a pajama. It keeps me toasty on a cold night. I have another old pair of tights that is lycra/nylon blend and I plan to make a pair of gloves out of it, so when I go out jogging on a cold night, those spandex gloves will keep my hands warm. Would you believe I bought a book cover made out of spandex? I could make another one out of the leftover spandex material that remains from those tights. ;-)
