I have corresponded privately with a few guys from the board, but have avoided posting publicly as these lower life forms blitz the boards in search of e-mail addresses. I even had the same problem when I was looking for a job, and some scum scooped the addresses from the resumes and the next thing I know, I'm being bombarded with upwards of 100 spam messages that still get past the filters on a daily basis. It's getting to be a royal pain in the *ahem* that I have to keep changing my personal email address to keep this crap out of my email box.
Such is life on the internet these days unfortunately. I've yet to find a service that I don't have to pay for that will keep this crap out of my email box.
I agree with balletbuddy (whose posts I completely love to read!!) when every time you think you find a safe spot for guys who enjoy the same thing you do, then some schmuck has to ruin it. I know there are other spandex fans in Toronto, but a few avoid posting anything to avoid getting spammed.
