6 or 8 panel bib-shorts

Thinking about my Briko cycling bib-shorts (see below), the reason they feel sooo damn good may be because they are of an 8-panel construction rather than 6. Has anyone else found that 8-panel shorts fit better than 6? They're often a bit more expensive, but it's probably worth it. What are your experiences? Russ
