First off, Brett, I enjoyed your open and honest story very much, and thank you for sharing it. I thought nothing strange or wierd about it...

Second, I wanted to share with y'all that I got my start with lycra in the late 80's at the gym. I started taking, and later teaching, aerobics and started wearing ly/span tights and shorts then. I still teach aerobics several times a week and always wear spandex gear, though usually cotton spandex these days.

My early gear was all lycra spandex, most of it made by Rainbeau. I still have all but one of them, which I abused to death! (c:

My first Cotton spandex was a great pair of Nike tights. Today, my favorite pair are my Danskin Cotton Spandex tights, which I wear with tee shirt tucked in and waist rolled down with a belt.
