I agree with eclipse and hec hec. Most of this business of not being comfortable in spandex,lycra bike or swimwear seems to be 1)peer pressure, 2) appropriateness of the togs at the time. If both issues are settled I do not have a problem with either of them for myself, wife and our kids. One would have to be a parent from the plesticine era not to know that our kids are no different than we were/are. You can get over your reticence with practice/common sense and paying attention. This is exactly what we have taught our two teanage sons and there is no problem. And for the fetish minded both those kids have full manhood at times in the bike and swimwear and nothing is ever said about it.
