Spent a nice Sunday afternoon at the ballet. The Miami City Ballet did two performances in Philadelphia this weekend, Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. The program was the complete Balanchine "Jewels." My kinda show--each act had cute balletboys in white tights--and NoUniButt. (Actual hightlight of the day for me wasn't onstage. Miami City's founding artistic director, the great Edward Villella, sat in the audience near my seat. I recognized him immediately when he walked into the theater. I didn't get to meet him, but I did get to see him, and I'm happy.)
