Hey SEA guy!
I mentioned my tradition in ballet. In ballet you have these sharp scissor movements of the leg and the positions, like fifth, the legs are tightly held together. If you hang low, or if you hang at all, you risk damage to those family jewels!
That's why I wonder about running and other sports. Wonder if other guys feel the need to have support.
Ballet is much more rigourous and strenuous than most sports in the demands on the legs (Uh Oh! Is that going to get me in trouble?). That's why we have dancebelts that pull the testicles and cock way up out of the crotch.
Most ballet dancers don't do this to "enhance" ourselves, the way bull-fighters do to intimidate the bull (a traditional stuffing). We do this to protect ourselves.
And I'll admit, often I wear padding so that it catches embarassing drips from showing through my tights. Usually a cup formed out of that vinyl with a cotton backing, like your mom uses to protect the table-top. Very thin.
So that's my story and my interest...I'm wondering if any guy worries about about support to avoid injury!
